A charming little cottage right next to a downhill flowing stream. It was comfortable enough for a couple. We found the sleeping area up the ladder really cosy and comfortable. A tiny kitchen area where you can cook some basic meals.

There was a slight smell of sewage emanating from the bathroom.

The location is perfect for exploring the Vagar island, and there is so much to see there. I disagree with people suggesting Torshavn for the whole trip stay. I highly recommend staying in Vagar for part of the trip. From this house you can walk to the ferry to Mykines and to the start of the Drangarnir hike! Welcome waffles were a very nice tough.

It takes some effort to close and open all the blinds. I recommend to bring a sleep mask during the summer.

Location Friendly and helpful owner!

This little stone house is 5 minutes from the airport which is convenient for a late flight arriving into the Faroe Islands. It's a basic accommodation but has everything one needs to make breakfast (except a toaster) and a basic evening meal. The climb up the ladder into the sleeping loft is not for anyone with mobility issues, but for us it was a fun novelty.

The blinds let in quite a bit of light, an eye mask is a good idea. No big deal but worth noting.

The house is super cozy and clean, excellent position and overall the best place to stay in Sørvágur I’ve been on a quest to try and experience all the Faroese small houses on booking, and this is definitely top-tier material.

Very cosy little house and friendly owners.

I had a very nice stay in the stonehouse and enjoyed the time without a TV...thank you for that experience! The owner of the house are very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for me to explore the wonderful surroundings between writing on my studies. Supermarket ist around "the corner", just about a 5min walk and there is always space for parking the car.

It was a bit cold inside, due to the temperatures outside, so there are some blankets and socks provided.
