Horseshoe Game Reserve

loved the surroundings. Beautiful view. Incredibly accommodating staff, especially given our delayed arrival. Very reasonably priced. Loved the patio overlooking the bush.

didn't like the fact that I was only staying overnight and couldn't really enjoy the full experience. I didn't like the shower head and had to take it off to have a proper shower, as it was spraying all over the place, but once removed it was fine. The lights leading up to the tent need to be angled to fact he floor, as they are blinding if you are heading towards the tent. The netting on the tent door was slightly damaged, so if you were particularly worried about insects, this may be a concern for some.

The lady at the reception was very friendly and welcoming..the owner of the place called a day before my check in day and answered all the questions I had and she was very warm, she also came to welcome us when we arrived..it was such an experience for my kids........I'm glad I booked,it's such a peaceful place...

Beautiful but since my last visit commercialised. Unfortunate. We were at the entrance of the reserve where the last time placed within the reserve. The last time I booked for 3 adults and 4 children. Bearing in mind we were two separate families. We received two separate tents and shared facilities. It was pleasantly private. This time I booked for 4 adults and 2 children. Our tents were joined and the privacy removed entirely. The host was kind enough to let provide us with a single tent for the one out of two night stay. On the Saturday however a few more guests arrived and the shared facilities were slim. It felt as though we were overbooked and discomfort was not only felt by us but the other group and one couple who barely utilised the facilities based on the fact that it was so overfilled. It is unfortunate for such a gem of a place and we will not be returning anytime soon. The price factor for what we got could stretch a bit further elsewhere.

Had a lovely stay. Very peaceful and quiet. Beautiful setting. Will visit again.

Se amenities could be upgraded in the kitchen.

Big Thanks Horseshoe Game Reserve, we enjoyed our weekend stay it was a great outdoor experience, awesome wildlife. Will definitely be back again.
