Horseshoe Game Reserve

we had a lovely time - beautiful surroundings and we loved our hike through the forest. When not being able to stop at a shop on our way in the owners kindly organised delicious game pies for us to eat. We saw many different species of antelope including impala, Nyala, kudu, gemsbok, blesbok, waterbuck and gemsbok. We had a lovely stay!

Excellent value for service, just to kept getting better. Loved the wildlife retreat from busy city life. Perfect location for the boys and opportunity on a long travel to find rest.

Wife struggled with the shower 🚿, but she loves the water extremely hot. Perfect for myself.

Giraffe, 🦒 and Warthog (first time for the wife). Lots of buck and great bird life (amazing for a bird watcher)

I didn’t appreciate being told to dress appropriately in the swimming pool while we were in swimsuits and cover-ups. That really put me off.

It was so beautiful and peaceful there. Very relaxing environment. The Cabin was nice and cozy and catered to all our needs. The view from the balcony was amazing. So many animals to see. The most thrilling was when the giraffes walked right past our vehicle. Annelien went out of her way to accommodate us and we appreciated her so much. Thank you for an unforgettable holiday. As there was a lot of rain while we were there it would have been nice if there was a roof over the braai as we couldn't braai for a lot of days because of the rain. The low water bridge was flooded from the rain and we couldn't get out to get supplies.

Awesome place. Recommend for a getaway place with amazing nature.

It rained for 2 days but it was still gorgeous.
