Best Beach Villa

Great view of the bay from the front window, spacious, clean and very comfortable.

The house is situated behind another and lack of signage made it difficult to spot from the street on arrival. It was also hard to back the car out of the long, narrow drive. The apartment is located on the first floor with no lift, so be prepared to carry everything up steps.

The view was nice from the front windows. The full kitchen was convenient. It was spacious. The owners sent the access code ahead of time, so that made getting inside easier.

Although GPS took us to the location, we could not find the actual unit number on the road or see it on the building from the road, so we had to figure out which house it was by process of elimination. The driveway was very narrow, and I could not turn around easily even in a small car. In trying to turn around, I scraped my rental car and will probably have to pay damages. I ended up having to back out since I still couldn't turn around. The owner should have provided more information or a warning about just parking on the road or just backing out. Also, it should not really be labeled "beachfront," as there is another house, a road, a park, and a retaining wall before you get to the ocean, and it is not a swimming beach right there, either. "Ocean view" would be much more appropriate. It smelled a little musty inside so we had to open the windows. It was great to have a washing machine, but there was no laundry detergent and no dryer. There was an outdoor clothesline that we used, but our clothes did not dry overnight.

It was located right at the esplanade and walking distance from the attractions and restaurants.

It was very difficult to locate as there were no house numbers to be seen, the property does not really look as it is advertised and there were not enough lights around the property by night as we had to go around the house to the back and climb some stairs to get to the entrance upstairs. The room downstairs was not connected to the rest of the house too. It was not very condicive at all. We also had kangaroos visit the property by night which was rather daunting for us as we had to walk in the dark.

Great size, and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing view. Well stocked for kitchenware. Great location. Showers good. Clean and tidy. Comfortable and easy. Enjoyed the character of an original beach shack that hasn’t been renovated to death.

Didn’t enjoy the outdoor stair access in the rain and puddles, but just unlucky with the weather.😞 The driveway was a little unnerving in a large vehicle. All forgotten when you see the view.

The size of the room is huge. The other bed room is at downstair. You have everything you need there.

The washing machine is outside the building. At night, it may cause a bit inconvenience to user. And it does not come with a dryer function.
