Lodge Nueva Elqui

The staff, the breakfast, the attention, the cleanliness, the view, how close it is to the town and surroundings, the silence. Etc. It's an amazing place, be it to just stay inhouse for a relaxed weekend, or to wander around among the secrets of Elqui's Valley.

Depending on the point of view, the fact that the WiFi never worked can be considered as something negative or positive, because it kept us disconnected, and the functions of the Smart TV didn't work (Srteaming services) because of the same reason.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THROUGH EXPEDIA!! got there and they refused our booking as they said Expedia owed them money. They turned us away! Contacted Expedia who said they would try and get us a refund as they’d already sent the money, but they wouldn't give us a refund. THEY ARE THIEVES! VERY DODGEY!!

Great views. Lovely pool area. Attentive host. Amazing stars at nights from the room balcony. Comfy beds. Good showers. The Elqui Valley is amazing, particularly for wine lovers!

Basic breakfast, but enough.

The entrance is not paved correctly and It caused a chaos because my car at the time was stick shift and I was not able to go up the hill. He needs to have a warning sign or a better road paved because it caused a very awful moment. We decided t look for another place because coming and going from the hotel was not going to be easy.

Fantastic place to relax, a couple of km outside Pisco Elqui. There's an incredible view of the valley. In the evenings we sat out on our balcony stargazing.
