"Great experience."

9.0

The glamping experience was fun. The view from the balcony was wonderful. Lovely and quiet.

On the third night the airconditioner didn't work properly. Given how cold it was which, given the low temperature, was very uncomfortable.

It’s an amazing place, ideal for visiting Kings Canyon.

It hurts the European heart if there is an AC in an absolutely not isolated tent. It’s basically directly heating or cooling the environment. We really needed it because without it would have been much too cold, but it would be really nice to think about more sustainable ways of building. Besides that it was very loud, so despite being in the desert, without any cars driving by, it felt like sleeping next to the highway.

"Fairly expensive, however the views and sunset were spectacular."

9.0

Brilliant views at sunset and great fire pits with wood provided.

A fair way up a dirt road which was good and bad. Glamourpuss Tent was fine but noisy in the wind. And it was cold as it’s exposed and the air cond heating was pretty average.

"Must stay for an amazing experience."

10.0

Everything. Spectacular views from the Drovers Dream. Our meals provided with room were generous. And fire wood supplied for firepit was great and added to remote atmosphere and sunset views. Buggy ride sunset tour was amazing, Rafi was an awesome guide. The team in the reception, souvenir shop, bough shed and cafe were so friendly. CC made us the best coffees. Decent price for remote fuel.

Loved the glam tents which had great facilities and really comfortable beds. Having breakfast and dinner included in the booking was a wonderful bonus. Access to Kings Canyon was easy - a great slot for an adventure!

"Glamping with a view"

8.0

Location was great. Stunning views & amazing sunsets & sunrises. Bed super comfy & bathroom fabulous

Did not realise in advance that there would not be any pots or pans available to use. A microwave would be a really nice touch too as cold baked beans isn’t much fun 3 days in a row. Would have loved a chopping board as well!! Also… would be more of an experience if each couple could be spaced out instead of having to be all grouped next to each.

"Despite shortcomings glad we chose Kings Creek. A memorable experience - perfect for Kings Canyon"

8.0

Excellent breakfast and very good evening meals - the overall site is well located. Love tenting under a thunder storm with dingoes howling just outside.

V poor access to the bush tents as the car park is located at some distance from the furtherest bush tents. Access is by a soft dirt surface so not possible to pull trolley cases which are necessary as part of a bigger journey in the NT. Also not helpful for older visitors. The tents nearest the kitchen are very noisy if a large group is using the kitchen. Suggest clearing a track behind the tents to make vehicle access possible.

"Excellent boutique experience. Oasis in a very remote part of Australia."

10.0

My husband and I stayed in the Drover's Dream glamping Tent #10. The experience was just wonderful! The Drover's Dream is very quiet, set high on a private ridge a few kilometres away from Kings Creek Station service area, it overlooks Giles Range which magnificently lights up red at sunset and glows yellow at sunrise. I have not seen the stars and milky way so clearly since I was a child, absolutely magical. There are 10 tents in a row and our tent was at the end and very private. We had the full view of sunset from our fire pit and deck. Sunrise was also very beautiful. The facilities were very high standard with hard ensuite and kitchen, as well as reverse cycle air-conditioning which we used as it was 6 degrees overnight at the time of our visit and a good sized deck and fly screens where needed. We enjoyed the dinner provided for self-cooking, quality meats and tasty salads, corn on the cob and potatoes in jackets. Breakfast was at Kings Creek Station with hearty australian breakfast. We felt the 2 nights allowed us plenty of time to explore Kings Canyon and walk the Rim Walk. Additional days would be just bliss! Staff were all friendly and helpful.

"A little bit of magic"

10.0

Location, the fact that it was a station which still looked and felt like a station - so my dreaming about an outback station was fulfilled. I loved that nature was undisturbed and everything fitted in. The camels, the birds and the wind in the trees.

I liked everything

Staff were very friendly. Included dinner was nice. Quiet location - great for star gazing and listening to dingoes.

Plastic kettle. Did not use for fear of microplastics. Only instant coffee was available in any event. The other place we glamped at provided drip filter coffee (Laughing Pug) which was excellent. Even a coffee plunger would have been good. Given we had to get in the car and travel 2.7km to the cafe for a morning coffee, a decent coffee option in the tent would have been really nice.
