Staff was great

bathroom/shower door was very dirty. I was cold most of the time anf no variety of TV channels

Hospitality was great for a lack of a better word. We were not going to have breakfast as we had to be somewhere else by 06:00 but Ignutius packed breakfast for us. It was a surprise when we opened it. we only expected sandwiches. Thank you so much for your kindness.

We were expected to pay even though booking.com had debited our credit card on reservation. Gravel road took us by surprise.

It’s a beautiful place, the rooms are spacious and well appointed.

The breakfast was not great, sausages dry and mushrooms rubbery and bitter.

The staff were all super friendly and very helpful. It is clear that the manager knows how to run a lodge. I need to make special mention about the service of Ignitius & James, excellent. The breakfast was great and the dinner superb. What a gem of a place. Ideal for a rural wedding or conference.

I would expect King size beds in the top of range rooms. The mattress that we slept on is nearing end-of-life.
