"Excellent game lodge, will come back!!"

Our experience at Elephants crossing was great: we stayed in the villa which was very clean and beautiful, with a large patio overlooking the bush. I really liked that the lodge is small (max 12-14 guests I think), as we received outstanding service from all the staff and it felt a bit like being in a small community, it was very easy to get to know the other guests. Food is amazing: one of us was vegan and they accomodated perfectly her diet providing tasty and beautifully presented plant-based choices, not to be taken for granted in SA!! We had spectacular game drives throughout the 3 days of our stay with unbelievable sightings: Herbert is a great ranger and made our experience truly magical!

Not a downside but rather something to be aware of: before reaching the West gate parking where the Elephants crossing team picks you up there is about 40-45 minutes drive on a dirt road

"A true escape from the city from the moment you arrive."

The views are incredible and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious and very welcome after a long morning drive.

The family suite should have internal access to each of the bedrooms. It is not ideal for younger children to be in a bedroom that can only be accessed by going outside.
