"Comfortable and pleasant overnight stay in a convenient location"

We were upgraded to a larger room upon arrival by our host. She was very pleasant and helpful. The lodge is well situated on the main street and is somewhat of an oasis, shady trees and interesting gardens etc. The room was comfortable with an outdoor kitchen area for self-catering.

The room looked over the car park but that didn't bother us too much. A couple of things in the room needed attention e.g. curled end to a rug that threatened to trip you up if not careful. Otherwise, all good.
