Great accomodation in a brilliant setting. A perfect base to explore the remarkable Maramures area. The hosts are lovely people, very happy to share their passion for the area. We strongly advise visitors to have the breakfast on offer: delicious, varied and will keep you going most of the day. Having travelled through Bulgaria and Romania for a month or so, we can honestly say this is the best place we have stayed and can't recommend it strongly enough.

Location is very nice, relatively remote, on a hill, with lots of green space around. The hosts are very warm and attentive.

I did not expect it to be quite far from the town's amenities, accesible only by an unpaved road up the hill

We were impressed by the hospitality of the owner. Very clean and cosy, traditional design. Great location, at the edge of the city in an oasis of greenery and peace, very close to the village museum. You can have breakfast and dinner at the pension if preferred. Delicious cooking :)

We could not have had a more wonderful experience. This little gem of a pensione is located in the most stunning place. The home is meticulously clean. And we were just minutes from Sighetu which was perfect. The owners (despite our need to use Google translate to communicate) were so sweet, generous and helpful. I would highly recommend this sweet place to anyone looking for a lovely, authentic Romanian experience with wonderful hosts.
