A pretty comfortable place near the river. The pool was a nice cooling down experience at the end of the day, but pool towels were missing. Getting to Puerto Mishauli was easy as Anna was very kind to give us a lift on the first day (cell reception was bad that day so not easy to call a taxi), and a $1.50 taxi ride on the other days. Anna was very helpful with resolving a problem associated with leaving medicine at a restaurant in Puerto Mushauli. She speaks very fluent english.

No hand towels or wash cloths. Also, would have been nice to have at least one additional egg for breakfast.

Alles!! Die Gastgeber waren überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Unterkunft war ein Traum, sowie das Frühstück, der Garten und der Pool, und der Zugang zum Fluss. Hätte nicht besser sein können! Außerdem wohnt hier ein außergewöhnlich entzückender kleiner Hund und Mehrere Katzen.

Gar nichts.

Staying at the Banana Lodge was fantastic on all fronts! The lodge, nicely located next to a river, is beautiful with spacious, clean rooms and plenty of places to also sit outside. The hosts are super friendly and helpful, and very good in bilingual communicating before and during the stay. Breakfast is great, as is having a swimming pool. Internet is stable and fast. The center of Misahualli is at easy walking distance and has plenty of restaurants (and a square with monkeys …). The town feels very safe (as did all the places in Ecuador we visited - Quito-Cotopaxi-Misahualli) and offers good opportunities for trips into the Amazon or easy tours to nearby lagunas (monkeys, birds, fish, etc.). We picked Misahualli because it offers a very affordable Amazon experience and is easily reachable from Quito. The lodge and the town exceeded even our high expectations. All in all, great for a relaxed Amazon experience, and very good value for money – strongly recommended!

El desayuno estuvo muy bueno, cotundente y rica la preparación. La ubicación es perfecta para la familia, cerca de la ciudad y lejos del ruido.

Nos gustó mucho el lugar, cuenta con todas las comodidades al mismo tiempo que está rodeado de la naturaleza de la Amazonía. Las habitaciones acogedoras y limpias. También nos encantó la atención, siempre fueron muy amables y prestos a responder nuestras inquietudes.

Se nos dificultó un poco dormir por el sonido de la lluvia con el techo una de las noches de nuestra estadía

La atención de Anna y su esposo fue excelente, muy amables, muy amigables, me encantó.
