Banana Lodge

This was a perfect Amazon stay thanks to the care and vision of the owners Anna and Carlos. You don’t need any more luxurious than here - if you do, leave you Carbon Footprint at home.

Seriously, this was perfect and great value for money.

The location is wonderful, outside the small the town of Misahualli. We had a car, but we still walked to town when we went because it was a nice and easy walk. We enjoyed watching the monkeys at the Playa de los Monos. Our daughters loved swimming in the river in the afternoons. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The owners, Anna and her husband, were on top of everything and made sure everyone was comfortable! Very helpful for us was that there's a dedicated kitchen for guest use!

The wifi was inconsistent...sometimes it worked well for a video chat and other times, a simple webpage wouldn't load. But we didn't come to the edge of the Amazon for internet use, so it wasn't a big deal.

Beautiful place and lodge just by the river and close to the village. Very useful to have a kitchen and tables for the guests, we could have dinner there. The owners provide a lot of information about tours and places to visit.

The owner (Gentleman) of the property should have more patience and respect for forefingers. The lady were friendly and informative.

The location is amazing: right on the river with a little beach to take a refreshing dip. The garden surrounding the accommodation units is beautiful. The room was very comfortable. To top it all, to our surprise we weren't bothered by mosquitoes at all.

In a lovely location overlooking the river. The room was generous in size with a large terrace looking through the garden onto the river. Breakfast was freshly prepared and tasty.

Banana Lodge is great. Convenient location within walking distance to downtown. Right by the river. Very quiet and peaceful. Friendly and helpful stuff. Just an awesome place to stay at.
