Echor Mud Huts Tabo, Spiti Valley

It was a terrible experience right from booking to stay. They blackmailed us into paying an advance else the booking would be cancelled. The furnishings were terrible with water logging in the washrooms and water dripping from the windows. They are just milking the customers as Diljeet stayed in the property recently. They didn't even have a plug point for a heater in the room - that too deluxe room. Please avoid.

The stay was wonderful. We booked a room for a night's stay en route to kaza. The place is being run by tamang and his team and echor has done a good job in putting things into place. The head cook is very skilled and customizes food according to your tastebuds. Kiran is adept in room services. The cottages and rooms are cozy and very comfortable. The location near the helipad and 2 mins walk from the ancient monastery is amazing. There is no other place like this in a 40 km radius.
