Woodpecker Lodge with Hot Tub

I like everything it was so nice to just chill and done me and my wife were so relaxed and the place it self had everything you needed

Very homely and comfortable. Lovely decoration and clean. Hot tub was great fun. Bedrooms were cosy. DVD collection was nice touch also.

I loved the cabin it was clean quite and very spacious also the food on site was gorgeous

Was abit far away from York centre, also when partner went for food she heard the cook say “I told them to wait 20 minutes” which put her off getting food from there after that.

Everything about it was high-end. The facilities Inc microwave washer dish washer en-suites. The biggest hot tub.. I never moved all weekend! Just sat reading on the veranda. We booked a last-minute weekend break.. It was not enough. We will book again, but for a week next time! The surroundings were so peaceful. I think there were hot tubs on every veranda, but no noise, nothing intrusive. THE ONLY DOWN FALL... to get to the town centre in a cab was between 35-50 pounds there are no busses. So if you can afford it thats fine, but being able to drive is essential.

fantastic lodge in a beautiful setting
