Very convenient and centrally located in the heart of Alofi! it’s a super plus Niue Visitor centre, Uga Cafe, G-mini mart, Telecom, quaint shopping complex, Utuko sea track, market are just a stone throw away! I explored the island by mountain bike rented from the Niue Visitor centre which was a one-stop shop for souvenirs.

All is well as a seasoned traveller … got out of my box and enjouyed what the lodge and Niue has to offer !

The place was cheap.

I planned to give this place a relatively good review in spite of all its short comings as it is cheap - but then on the last day, one of the owners rushed us out of the room early with no pre-warning. Quite ironic when the owners took two days to reply to issues we had. Extremely poor communication on all fronts. On island time when it suits them - but also pushy, rude and in a rush when it suited them. All the issues we had, the owners/staff blamed on each other. Not clean. Wasps everywhere on the day we checked in. We told them about this and received a can of fly spray 2 days later. Not very helpful of course. No curtains in the bathroom so the community hall next door can see right in. Very noisy with traffic etc. Fans in the rooms don't work. Even the tourist information people couldn't get hold of them. Seems to be common knowledge on the island that this place is an awful place to stay. Yes the place is cheap, but that's no excuse for the terrible way it is run.

spacious rooms, excellent location.

The water in the ensuite shower was scalding hot, so had to use the communal shower. once the rubbish bins were full, there was nowhere we could go dump it, we had to just leave it in a corner until the end of our stay. we had no contact information for the host other than the message box of the booking.com website.

Initially friendly helpful managers. Very good location, very reasonably priced, comfortable lounge area the rest bit old & tired looking outside deck patio/ washing line area very broken down bit unsafe. Kitchen utensils ok, mwave didn't work, 2 stove elements not working, cleaning was supposed to be done 3x weekly but only done before we arrived not during & place still dusty. They left us cleaning products but only 1 cloth for both kitchen bathrm etc, no bathrm soap & a notice saying we get 1 lot of toilet paper provided the rest we have to get ourselves lol. These are hygiene issues & should be seen to by management not guests dedpite the price. The hotwater stopped working & (we had no local contact ph #) after emailing finally got response late at night saying they'd come nxt day & if we hear beeping it's the power metre about to run out, on investigation we discovered gas bottle for hotwater was empty & the power metre is a prepay so both things could've been avoided with pre planning. But otherwise for the price was ok.

We needed local contact ph #'s to sort out any issues, cleaning should've been done more often. Gas bottle & prepay power metre's should've been topped up before we arrived as. If they expect us to clean then provide enough cloths. In toilet area, soap & toilet paper are hygiene issues & should ne provided despite cheap price

I like the location and the price which is not high.

Toilet paper is not provided after using the existing roll.

People were very nice. Location is perfect.

Dirty, definitely didn't clean the floor, crushed dead cockroach on the wall behind my bed. Rat traps and droppings next to the cooking pans.

Best price and excellent location

Very dirty with a lot if bugs, insects and I saw a mouse there as well.
