Cottage Morino Nakamatachi

A cozy and quiet place to stay.

No blackout curtains. The sun wakes me up before 5AM.

I wish I could have stayed longer at this charming and homely cottage. We spent a night here during our visit to the Furano area. The outside of the cottage is beautiful, and the inside feels very cozy and welcoming. It's clear that the owner pays great attention to detail to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking simple meals, but you're asked not to cook strong-smelling foods like BBQ inside. The owner seems incredibly kind, we even received a lavender pouch as a gift at check-out. Overall, highly recommended.

None. But if I had to mention one drawback, it would be the lack of a separate basin for brushing teeth. You either have to use the bathroom or the kitchen sink.

The place is very nice with high CP value. Everything is great and my family loves this place.

Lovely cottage with lots of cute details that make it feel extra homey. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and the bathroom is clean and modern. We loved the Moomin characters everywhere! The host was friendly, helpful and even gave us a small gift to take home with us.

The cottage is small but comfortable. It’s just several minutes drive from the gondola.

Place is clean and cozy.

The stairs to the beds in the attic is quite steep.
