Backwoods Lodge

Wonderful outstanding stay at the Backwoods Lodge beautiful place thats only 27 miles from the Denali national park entrance. Good size rooms that are very clean. Rooms had 2 Queen beds and 1 twin bed great for a family of 4. The room comes with many amenities such as a small fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, hot pot for boiling water, can opener, wine/beer bottle opener, cutting board, plates, coffee mugs, glasses, silverware, napkins,  hair dryer, a TV with direct TV, hot tea bags, hot chocolate, popcorn, salt & pepper. Outside is a patio area with a picnic table and gas grill with utensils. The beds/ pillows are comfortable . Definitely a needle in a haystack of how great this place is in Alaska. Thanks to Chris and his family.

Wish there was a toaster to toast bread and a griddle to make eggs but definitely was alright.

Location was secluded, yet close enough to Denali, restaurants, gas station, etc... Room was very clean, easy check-in/out process. If in the area, would stay again.

Nice place, really nice to find a place with plates, silverware, and coffee. It worked well after a day of hiking.

Low shower pressure and as a tall person low rider toilet.

The lodge was perfect for our stay. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. They accommodated our large group.
