Lava Rock Viet Nam Lodge

Very cheap price, great location as it's right outside the entrance to the park. Friendly owner. Just to make aware, they weren't able to serve us breakfast however they directed us to the accommodation across the road where we were given it. The rooms are built into rock which keeps the temperature cool at night. There was also a cute puppy by our room which in my opinion is always a bonus:)

There was a little confusion when we were checking in as the owner doesn't speak English and it was like we had surprised him when showing up even though I had just been messaging them an hour before. There was some construction going on right across from our room so the view wasn't great. There wasn't anything covering the window in the bathroom so it was easy for insects to get in. The sink was dirty. They were also doing some construction within the premises near our room so the workers were right outside our room talking in the morning.

The accommodation was not the same as the description. there is no bike rental, no breakfast. everything seems destroyed and abandoned. maybe related to covid there is a lack of tourism, which is crucial for renovating the rooms and service. All in all the people are very helpful and taking care. the park is old and rusty but it’s worth a visit.
