The Wandering Star Inn

Amazing place. It was magical. The room was spacious and had lots of little details. The bed was warm and comfortable. The land is great and I enjoyed listening to the turkeys off in the distance gobble gobble each evening.

Nothing. I want to return!

The owner and particularly his dog were terrific. We loved the quaint accommodations and sitting on the porch was very soothing.

What a friendly welcome from Ron, who did everything he could to make our stay pleasant. His place is fascinating and beautifully located. Easy journeys to Zion and Bryce NPs.

Conveniently located; both lodging & the restaurant; both onsite! Bed was SOOO comfy; made it hard to get up the next morning 😉 Would definitely stay here next time I’m in the area.

Great location as we were traveling between zion and bryce national park. Ron very nice man and easy to deal with. We got lost and he was very helpful on the phone. Room comfortable great wifi

The bungalow is really cosy, perfectly functional with its own toilet and shower. It’s super clean and the bed is very comfortable. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden so that you feel like in the middle of nature (a true paradise I’d even say!). Ron, our kind host, let us use his fully-equipped kitchen ( stove but also bbq outside) to cook a nice meal (much needed after 10 days of road trip). We could also use the porch to hangout and watch the humming birds that come drink some water (isn’t that paradise ??) The place is also well located, a 25’ drive from Zion national park.

Google maps won’t take you to the right address so it’s very important you check the itinerary Booking.com gives you! You’ll then see how easy and well-indicated everything is , so don’t do like us !

We stayed at the Wandering Star for 4 nights in April. This was our second time, having also stayed there for 2 nights in 2022. Words do not describe what a special place this is and how wonderful Ron (host ) is. Ron is a fabulous host; he is a kind person who cares about his guests' comfort.. The cabin is clean, incredibly comfortable and amazingly quiet (despite being just off a main road). WIFI is excellent. Ron shares his kitchen for guests to prepare their meals and there is a separate fridge for guests. The location is convenient for many natural areas and national parks. The location allows for viewing night skies in the high desert. We hope to return. Thanks, Ron, for another great stay. Stay well.
