Locals zaten op het bankje naast onze kamer en konden de geur reuken van rook… Daarnaast kwam er geen warm water

Die Lage war super, das Personal sehr freundlich, schöner Blick ins Grüne

Die Matratze war nicht so bequem

Quiet location with a lovely garden with playing monkeys. Good breakfast ! The owner and his wife did everything to make it comfortabel for us. Outside there are plenty of restaurants and bar to enjoy within short walking distance

Sarat is an incredible host and went above and beyond when we stayed here and was very attentive! Really comfortable bed aswell. Location is fab just off the main road and easy access to restaurants and about 10 mins walk to viewing of lion rock! Was lovely to be surrounded by the jungle at night especially seeing the monkeys at breakfast. Has a lovely balcony area looking into the jungle too.

Room was basic but had everything that you need for a few nights stay.

We had an outstanding stay at Sigiri Rainbow Lodge, which we’d easily rate around 9 to 9.5 out of 10. 1. Unbeatable Location Just a short, picturesque walk from the entrance to Sigiriya Rock (around 1 km), this charming lodge puts you right in the heart of the action. Other key sites like the Sigiriya Museum and Pidurangala Rock are also within easy reach. 2. Spacious & Refreshingly Simple Rooms Our room was refreshingly spacious, clean, and comfortable—with a balcony or patio opening to quiet garden views. The simple décor includes essentials like a desk, a dining area, air conditioning, and thoughtful extras like mosquito nets and free toiletries. 3. Warm, Helpful Hosts The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and eager to help. 4. Excellent Value & Breakfast We felt the pricing offered true value. They offered breakfast at 7:30 AM but as ours was a short stay and had other plans, we had to skip breakfast. 5. Pleasant Amenities & Atmosphere The property features a lovely garden, outdoor seating, and a calm ambiance—almost like staying in a jungle retreat. Despite feeling tucked away, it’s still very close to local attractions and dining options.

Our rooms could have been together. The three rooms we booked were not next to each other which is what we preferred but this is hardly a dent in the overall stay and experience.

L'extrême gentillesse de l'hôtel ainsi que sa discrétion. Nous donne de bonnes idées de balade.lits confortables. Très belle maison. Emplacement top à 20 mn à pied de l'entrée de Sigirya. Très bon petit déjeuner.
