The staff is great

Our 3th time in Pipa, we were staying for 10 wonderfull days in a fantastic house at the beach en were looking for accommodation for the last two days. I was trilled by the beautiful pictured of Pipa Beleza and the good reviews. We had a early check in which was really helpfull. When we arrived at Pipa Beleza, i directly saw that the beautiful pictures were made a long long time ago. The swimmingpool (with a old closed bar) really needed some maintenance. The beautiful white pillows on the furniture on the pictures were now gray, very dirty, broken and rotten. We came not near to them. The house is big, very outdated with a lot of bedrooms and bright lights. The jacuzzi is old and there was some garbage left from the former guest on the couch. The terras outside looked great but during lunch we were eaten by the mosquitos.. putting on DEET, but the worst thing was not happening yet: My two kids woke up in the middle of the night, very upset and covered with mosquito bites. Mosquitos were everywhere, hundreds of them and very agressive. We tried to catch them but they were with too many. No mosquito nets available. The next day I counted more than 70 bites at my youngest son. He got an allergic reaction and we had to look voor medical care and medication for him. In the first 10 days zero mosquito bites and at Pipa Beleza we were eaten. We rest of the family had at least 30 bites after 24 hours. We eliminated at least 100 in the house, kept airco on, doors closed but they kept coming. Horrible end to our holiday unfortunately. The Staff was very nice and helpful but that doesn't make up for the lack of maintenance and the mosquito plaque. For us: never again Pipa Beleza
