Villa Ocean Breeze

The accommodation is spacious and well equipped for furniture. It’s in a fantastic location and the views are superb. We spent some great family time here both outdoors and indoors on the chillier days. The villa is very quiet and private. The road up to the villa and down the drive is steep but doable even in a larger car - sensors help. The villa gets sun all day on the pool area until sunset, and the veranda provides welcome shade. It was lovely to sit out and listen to the goats being herded up and down the hillside. The pool was a great size and just warm enough mid-May to not require heating. We didn’t pay to heat the pool (currently €40 per day with a minimum of 7 days). We didn’t need to use the aircon, but the fans in the 2 large bedrooms were great. The two larger bedrooms are sizeable, with en suite in both. We found the Wi-Fi to be reliable, and all the streaming services worked. There were plenty of mugs, plates, cutlery, glasses in the kitchen, and it was generally well equipped for cooking. The gas BBQ worked well, but there is no table-top cooking on the outdoor table as in the photos. Welcome pack is water, beer, carton of wine, bread, milk, Flora. There are 2 Philippos nearby - the massive one is 10 mins away in Coral Bay and has a good GF range. You’ll be able to get the necessaries there you will need for your stay at the villa such as cleaning cloths/spray, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, kitchen towel, loo roll, bin bags, coffee pods for the Nespresso machine, tea, sugar etc. Plug sockets are UK, but there were EU adaptors available. Plumbing is Greek (loo paper in the bin, not the toilet). There are plenty of really good restaurants just a short drive away. A car is an essential for the villa, but they do drive on the left side of the road.

Bedroom 3 is much smaller. It has no hanging space and had there been 3 couples sharing, this room would be a poor third being much smaller, no en suite or balcony. Balcony shares a table and 2 chairs between 2 bedrooms. No mid-stay service but there is a washing machine if you wish to launder sheets and towels (bring/buy your own detergent). Some of the outdoor furniture is looking quite tired.

The villa's location is just spectacular, and it is fitted out with everything you could want and more. The beds are very comfortable, and it was lovely just sitting out in the morning reading on either the balcony or the terrace. When we arrived, we were a little worried about driving up and down the hill to the villa, and yes, the drive is steep but manageable. The walk to the village of Peyia is doable, and there is a lovely coffee shop for refreshments once you're there. The walk back takes some time but is so worth it. So peaceful. Bharat was incredibly helpful, and communication was always very quick. We hope to return another time. Would definitely recommend it.

The pool was chilly the first few days, so if you're heading there early or later in the season, it would be worth asking for the pool to be heated a couple of days before you arrive. There is an extra cost per day but very reasonable.

Stijle afrit en oprit waren met een kleinere auto te doen, met een grote auto lijkt het me wel een uitdaging. Wie niet van een pittige wandeling omhoog houd zal de auto naar het dorp moeten nemen.

The view was fantastic. The villa was superb and had everything we needed for our holiday.

Amazing peaceful location, great views, terrific accommodation and support team were first class. Nothing was too much trouble however both or small the issue was (not that there were many!). All the facilities you could wish for in a house, WiFi, satellite TV, Nespresso machine, etc. pool was clean and perfect, pool cleaning lady came from a village near us and was so friendly.

Loved the very quiet location, great views and the added luxury of having the pool heated made the holiday for my family.

Just a recommendation leave the car on the road

Lovely villa with everything you might need. Situated high up but roads were fine to navigate. Car is a must. Shops and restaurants etc. are too far to walk to but the views from the villa outweighs this! Hosts were very helpful and quick to resolve a small issue with the air conditioner unit.

Villa Ocean Breeze is a fantastic villa with amazing g facilities & beautiful views. The pool is fantastic and was enjoyed everyday by my family. The hosts are welcoming and accommodating as are the team who help look after the Villa. Not far from Peiya & Coral Bay, this villa has a superb location but a car is a must. We hope to return to this outstanding accommodation sometime. Thank you so much.
