Great location and the house had everything we needed and more

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed in. The lodge is modern with fabulously interior designed rooms. All required modern cons were provided. The outside space worked very well for a braai, good conversations, and birdwatching. The private swimming pool was a real treat in the heat. The surroundings are beautiful. We hope to return some day. Thank you for hosting us.

I liked everything

Our stay at Gecko Lodge was absolutely delightful. Everything was amazing—from the cozy electric blankets to the warmth of the gas fireplace that made chilly evenings feel luxurious. The outdoor braai added a lovely touch for relaxed gatherings, and each room had its own ensuite bathroom, offering both comfort and privacy. The house was beautifully appointed and ideally located near the popular wine farms in Robertson, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. I highly recommend a stay at Gecko Lodge. It’s the kind of place that wraps you in comfort and charm. I’ll definitely be returning in the future.

We had a fantastic stay. From the start, communication from our host, Tanya, was excellent, prompt, clear, and incredibly helpful, which made everything from booking to check-out effortless. The property is set within a secure, peaceful complex with beautifully maintained scenic grounds that added to the relaxing atmosphere. Inside, the accommodation was modern, stylish, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s perfectly located for exploring the Overberg region, with easy access to nearby vineyards, charming towns, and a range of sightseeing opportunities. A truly relaxing and enjoyable experience – we would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We love the house and modern look. We really had a good time. x

We had a wonderful stay at Gecko lodge, the only complain was that the patio was full of spider webs and heavy webs on the chairs as well, so that was a bit concerning. The ironing board was a bit bad, we need to put a cloth on top to iron.

It was very lovely. Beautiful place in a very peaceful security complex. I could not find any faults. Absolute perfection and Tanya was both very friendly and informative. I will have to book in the near future again.
