Birches Cottage & the Willows Garden Room

What an absolute gem! Beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. Great communication from the host. Many hiking routes with breathtaking vistas over the river. We will most definitely be back. .

Amazing nature around, great garden to chill and a lot to explore in the garden, the accomodation is very spacious and you have everything you need for cooking. Very warm hosts, we really enjoyed our time there and highly recommend it!We had a lovely time!

The amenities were fabulous , the service was Great and the host was super friendly and helpful.

The location was absolutely beautiful, with well-planned walking trails that offered breathtaking views. I loved that there were swimming spots on the property, making it a great place to relax and unwind. It was also conveniently close to amenities and restaurants, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable.

While the sunroof provided incredible natural lighting during the day, there was no way to block out the light in the morning, making it difficult to sleep in. Although it is a self-catering unit, the cooking facilities were very limited to a braai, microwave and tea station. A cleaning service is available, but it would be nice to have a sink to wash up and prepare for a braai,a proper prep area would alsoo be nice. It is impractical to prepare any sort of meal/snack. It’s much easier to eat out rather than try to prepare food in the cottage.

The exceptional beauty of the area and the amazing work that has been put into making this property an ideal getaway for some much needed rest & relaxation (some rum & raspberry also goes down nice). The scenic walk down to the river, obviously taking time out to enjoy "Lovers Seat". Tranquil setting with awesome hosts.

Clean, spacious cottage with lots of little touches. Love the nespresso machine and pods. The hosts added a lot of additional attention which was lovely. We'll be back!
