Bahiazul Villa Opale by B-Rent Corralejo

V nice villa, spacious and with good facilities. Two supermarkets and 1 restaurant within easy walking distance. Roof top terrace lovely.

Needs a bit of tlc, particularly on door locks. The two villa bedroom's (no access other than front, sliding door) door locks were unable to be used. Once in the key was almost impossible to remove, host oiled locks but made no difference, as a result doors unlocked for week. Locks to toilets don't close properly either. Need a little bit of tlc and a deep clean to be perfect. 45min walk to town.

Our stay at Villa Opale was amazing, Andrea who welcomed us is a lovely man and made us feel so happy to arrive, he had waited for us over an hour as the coach went to some many resorts and dropped us off last. Coach is cheap 22.85 euros for 3 adult tickets, but took about 90 mins. Got a taxi back to airport was 30 mins and 55 euros. You have everything you need I'm villa to be comfortable. Lovely bedrooms all with ensuites. Kitchen has all the cooking/dining equipment you need including a stove top, cooker, microwave, kettle, 3 different coffee machines my fav being the French stove top coffee maker. With Lidl and local Mercadona stores just 8 mins walk down the road, you can see the store signs from the villa. Mercadona store has fresh food, fish and meats and a bakery, nothing described in English but it is the locals store. Lidl has English descriptions and usual finds so we shopped in both. There is a couple of cafes and shops bit further down which we didn't get to try, looked good. The beautiful town Corralejo is 8 mins drive around 7.50 euros and can book it with staff in main resort or the lovely man at the gate. Corralejo town is great to walk around and so many beaches and restaurants to choose from. The island is so clean and hardly any crime, we felt very safe. It's a private villa on the Bahiazul resort and you can actually use Bahiazul restaurant, spa and gym, also do room service! We didn't stay long enough to use all, but we did throughly enjoy the villa, hot tub was so nice in the evening. And TV in lounge has Netflix and usual apps. Ohh the shower in first bedroom has six different sprayers with massage option so good!

Some reviews said the villa needs updating, we didn't think so much only that yes some of the sun loungers need updating (one was already broken but didn't report as so many of them didn't matter) There is a washing machine on the rooftop with clothes dryers available so handy, I couldn't work the machine but a guy came to clean the pool third day there and he showed me how to use. The sun is so bright couldn't see the display. Can't help that its nature. Didn't like that we had to leave we would have stayed longer ☺️

Amazing pool. Amazing villa complex. Very Spacious. Given early check in. Pool cleaned 3 times. Security 24/7.

Air con didn't work.

Location

Kitchen needs replacing, dishwasher failing apart, fridge way too small. Hot tub noisy. Air conditioning noisy. Bathrooms need updating. Sun loungers need replacing.
