"great (cold) stay with wonderful staff"

my boyfriend and I agree this was our favorite stay of our trip in Ecuador. we spent less than 24 hours and sadly it was cloudy for most of our time but we got a beautiful view of Chimborazo from about 6:30-8am. the staff was extremely friendly and pleasant, the food was delicious, and the room was very comfortable- if not cold, but they provide heaters and they lit the fireplace in the common space to make it cozy as well. the beds are comfortable and warm.

it was rather empty when we stayed which made it feel a bit more desolate but it almost added to the winter lodge vibe!

Everything. Great location, staff and food. We were worried about the high price for us, but it was one of the highlights of our holiday, so worth splashing out for.

"A great place to sleep at the foothills of Chimborazo."

Is is situated on the foothills of Chimborazo. The staff is super friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable (includes a great selection of photographs and books), the food was great (they made changes of the menu regarding our food allergies and nutritional requests).
