Casa Palmeras

This is our second visit to Casa Palmeras! The property is fantastic the pool being the best feature The property is in a good location close to a small supermarket and a few cafes and restaurants The staff were incredibly kind and helpful and the pool Is cleaned out every morning We’ve booked to return again early October 😃

Very clean, well equipped. Pool and outside area was fantastic! Great location, some great bars and restaurants just round the corner. A lovely 20 minute walk down to the sea front.

A rare occasion where a properly looks even better in real life than in the photographs - probably the best rental house I've ever stayed in! It felt like we were in a music video or something! The pool was amazing and makes a great centrepiece for the house, a great size, a pleasant temperature and cleaned and maintained every morning before most of us woke up. We spent a lot of time relaxing in and around it. Good location with a few shops and places to eat within a 5 min walk, an easy 15/20 minute downhill walk into Adeje centre, and a short electric scooter or taxi ride away from Las Americas and Siam Park (lots of electric scooters for rent near the house that turned out to be a very fun and fast way to get around). Nice little fruit bowl and some kitchen essentials to welcome us on arrival. The towels and bedding were changed half way through the week. The large outdoor BBQ was great and got used a few of times. There's a couple of resident cats (a positive for our group!), a Siamese that was often around in the day and a ginger that was often around in the evening. One time the Siamese invited themselves inside, but was easily shooed away.

The sofa bed wasn't made up as a bed when we arrived. This is probably my fault for not realising we had to explicitly ask for this in advance, but in fairness there were no prompts telling us we needed to and we were never asked about it before arriving. Someone did come round the next morning to make it up properly which was great, just noting here for future travellers. As mentioned in nearly every other review, there is still a huge kerb to drive up if you want to park in the driveway. This was a little nerve wracking to negotiate in a rental car the first time, but once we decided to reverse up it (there is more clearance at the back of most cars than at the front) it turned out to be absolutely fine and we quickly got used to it. The roads around the house are pretty busy and some traffic noise could be easily heard in at least the master bedroom closest to the road, even with all doors and windows closed. The pool and back garden area are heavily overlooked by the neighbours, and at times it felt a little like we were being watched/kept an eye on (one of the closest neighbours seemed to regularly stay outside exactly as long as we did at night, even into the small hours...). This "being watched" feeling wasn't helped after we noticed that the alarm system movement sensors inside the house incorporate pretty obvious spy cameras! These are thankfully only present in the shared areas (the hallway etc.) rather than in the bedrooms and bathrooms or anywhere too intimate that we noticed, but it did feel a little creepy/voyeuristic.

Beautiful. Rooms were large and comfy . Bathrooms superb and the pool was just amazing

Only problem we had was parking our hire car. The property has its own parking but it’s a very steep curb outside and pretty tricky to get in

The villa is fantastic,the pool is great.The location is not to far from the beach within walking distance.

The floor by the doors leading to the pool needs some maintainance lots of chips in the tiles,also needs a matt as it is very slippery when wet. The plugs do not keep the water in the sinks so you have to keep the water running when washing up although there is a dishwasher when you only have a few cups its easyer to wash up. so the hot water runs out quickly unabling hot showers for all six adults.
