House was lovely and homey feeling. Had a great view and perfect big comfy lounge. Plenty of room for everyone. Loved waking in the morning on the balcony seeing the kangaroos and nature perfect for a morning coffee.

The main bed in main bedroom wasn't the greatest the mattress has a slant and a bit firm

The house is a great size with 3 bedrooms downstairs as well as a living area, bathroom and laundry. Upstairs has the master bedroom with ensuite, an extra toilet and kitchen/dining and living room. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything that we needed. We were a multi generational group with the grandparents, parents and two teenage kids. The kangaroos each evening in the block next door were great to see. The property was a great base for us to explore the Island and not far from Kingscote to restock supplies.

The property needs to have a good sweep outside for cobwebs and also pest control. There was a major bug infestation of earwigs and on the last night, I got eaten alive despite not leaving doors open. For the money we paid, I expected a bit more.

It wasn’t cleaned properly after previous guests. For example, floors dirty and food spilt on the bed cover. Not enough linen.

Brand new house in a new housing development at the very quiet and peaceful Emu Bay. Beautifully decorated house with comfortable furniture and large kitchen, dinning area and living room, overlooks the ocean in the distance. Emu Bay is also very closed to Kingscote, which is the most populated town on Kangaroo Island. The house is a nice based for exploring the entire island.
