The location was perfect, away from the bustle of the town, very clean & well appointed. Lovely!

The ensuite offered no toilet privacy. No door made it difficult in a new relationship. It was large which was nice, but I think the description Private Bathroom needs to be clarified as I searched for a private bathroom given my personal situation with a new man. Will book again but will be asking about the toilet.

The separate spa bathroom was beautifully relaxing. .

The internet wasn't always reliable

The Kookaburra 2 is the back unit, on a sloping up block, and is the top level which has clear views over the front single storey unit. The unit has high narrow windows on two sides letting in light and views of the trees as well as large regular placed windows. Nice and light bring in the views. Veranda on two sides to enjoy the sun and views. The layout and size is perfect/spacious for a couple. Kitchen is well equipped with some nice touches like cooking oil, salt and pepper grinders, coffee and some herbs. Huge TV and access to netflix etc. Wifi was excellent over the three days. The host contacted us two days in advance with the keylock number and her mobile should we need anything. Perfect. The downstairs I suspect is used by the owners for laundry and storage? No noise or sign of any activity to disrupt us upstairs.

Whats not to like, a great option in Halls Gap.

Beautiful setting surrounded by trees & mountains. Facilities exceptional & very clean!
