VILLA LAS CUEVAS

Finally writing a review for this amazing “Home” We stayed for 10 days in May and honestly it was awful to leave it. Even my grandkids were “gutted” to leave. Now to address what most prospective renters will ask: NO, the road noise did not bother us at all. Entrance into the villa is easy, I had a seven-seater VW Caddy and had NO issues reversing it in through the gate. It is literally 9 minutes to Puerto Del Carmen “Old Town” and about 7 minutes to the airport or Playa Honda. Some maybe concerned about no En-Suite. DON’T BE, the bathrooms upstairs and downstairs are more than adequate. There is also a bathroom below the pool area which is a lovely touch. There is a Pool – Handy Man that comes most days either to clean the pool or hot tub and do other stuff around the place. He is lovely and kept our bin empty. Make sure you tip him as he REALLY earns it. The house made us feel at home and NOT in a “Made for Rental” Villa. Its traditional Spanish look and feel is perfect. The beds are comfortable and clean and there are plenty of towels. The kitchen has everything you will need even if you are “Self-Catering” your whole holiday The pool and hot-tub were a huge hit with my grandkids. Ordered Chinese for delivery with no problems finding us. Overall, we loved it here and 10 days was not enough. My youngest Grandson just asked if I can buy it. :)

Absolute sun trap all day , Very clean inside and out , villa was just amazing I can not fault it we stayed a family of 5 and we all loved it , very easy to get to.

Nothing if anything noise from traffic honestly it was not an issue and zoned out so quickly

The traffic noise, as it's right on the main road. The rooms at the back of the house are okay but, if you sleep in the main bedroom at the front, you'll be woken up at 7 am by traffic heading for Arrecife We didn't use the pool as it was January and it wasn't heated but we did use the jacuzzi, which was heated. It could do with a bit of TLC , as the lid needs replacing and one of the jets wasn't working, but it was still fun! If you want to walk into Tias, which has at least three decent restaurants, it's about a 15- 20 minute walk uphill, which we found okay. The return trip was obviously much easier! Although easy to find from the airport using the owner's instructions, Google maps had difficulty locating the property so you're best advised to 'pin' its location

The host was very friendly.The please clean and nice, very spacious.had everything that we need for our stay.kids love of swimming pool and jacuzzi. Just a recommendation to rent a car.

The villa was exceptional! Everything was perfect. The Host Lina was so kind and helpful. She allowed early entry and late departure for our familys stay. If we needed anything at all, she was available on messages and replied very quickly to any questions we had. It was spotless inside and outside and very spacious. The children really enjoyed the pool and slide and we stayed in some days because thats all they needed! The welcome pack was lovely also. I would recommended a hire car at this location as it is out of the town. We will hopefully return to Villa Las Cuevas the next time we visit.

Host were really friendly & helpful. Answered any queries immediately. Very spacious, authentic Spanish decor. Great pool & hot tub. Lovely views from the terrace, large outdoor space & very private.
