Bathroom and toilet in the room with walls not up to ceiling. No menu for dinner. Just one dish offered. Depressing atmosphere. Substandard accommodation.

"Thys, our host was wonderful, but the facilities could be improved."

The location is excellent. The self-catering facilities are absolutely minimal. If you don't braai, you have a sandwich toaster, one convection plate and a microwave to make a meal. We had no electricity for the first night we were there, so it was a bit tricky.

Wine glasses would be nice, as would a vegetable knife.

"Great location for viewing wild flowers in the Kamiesberg."

Great location - very lovely flower viewing close by. Great viewing of the lunar eclipse too.

Rooms were a bit rough and ready, but contained all that was needed.

"Namaqualand hospitality in a peaceful place."

Excellent Namaqualand hospitality. Beautiful drive up Kamieskroon mountain to a lovely location that is quiet at night. Delicious farm food. We stayed in Kadoesie and the hostess specially put on the electric blankets when we checked in as it was cold and rainy.

We were fine with the road to the guest house, in fact, I chose to go there as I know how beautiful the area on the mountain is. No gin for my G&T, but that was a minot omission.
