Weltevreden Game Lodge

An incredible place! Very nice and comfortable chalet. We enjoyed the braai available just outside the chalet. We had the chance to see lots of animals during our stay.

The kitchen was quite small and might be better equipped to allow guests to cook inside the chalet. There was just one electric pan available

Really helpful and friendly staff. The place is nice and quite, rest full and great views over the river while having a braai. The cat and dog that greeted me every day was a added bonus

The road out could have been better, especially after the rain

Animals. The lodge manager was very friendly.

Roads to get to the lodge. For a self catering cabana the kettle didn’t work. The microwave tripped the lights. A number of water leaks from the thatched roof. State of the bedding and towels.

Nature nature love hearing the hyena behind our unit calling and the lions the background. Beautiful game farm with a friendly lady assisting you all the way.
