Gros Morne BaseCamp

The vue when we could see the mountains, was pretty awesome.

The picture on the confirmation show another place, so I was expecting that place not a cabin. No air conditioning. No place to eat breakfast , we had to go to Rocky Harbour every time for every meals. That’s is not what I call vue sur la mer, water was pretty far. False description.

Excellent staff and the location is in a beautiful community steps away from stunning views.

Decent location

Rooms not cleaned/refreshed on daily basis, beds not made. Navigating stairs with luggage may be difficult for some people. No on-site staff.

We chose it because of close proximity to Woody Island ferry

Bit of a musty smell in cabin. A/C would be nice if it were hot.

Simple and good location

We ended up with a pull out couch and one bed for 4 people. That wasn’t clear in the booking and there were two bedroom cabins.

The location was amazing overlooking the water! Great little town!

The room needs some plates and cutlery so guests can have eat in meals.

Convenient location to activities and site seeing
