Villa Alegria

It is a nice villa with a good kitchen, great pool and lot of space.

The Jaccuzzi did not work and asked the owner several times to fix it. A mechanic came on thursday (after 4 days) and fixed it for one day . After that it did not work. So the jaccuzzi worked one day at 29c. The mechanic said the thing was no good and has to be replaced. The main bed made a lot of noise. Every time you turned, the bed squeaked and creaked a lot. If you book a stay for two, you only get one bedroom. We where glad we asked the owner to open another bedroom, this had a much better bed. You pick up the key at the gate. No one is there to explain how everything works. We stayed a couple of times in other villa at Bahia Azul but this is our least favorite,..

The resort was really pretty, quiet and clean, and the privately owned villa was perfect. the beds and bedding were soft and comfortable and the garden and pool area was not too over-looked by neighbors. Our host Patricia was amazing and looked after us well. Her villa was perfect for us as a family of 4 and we all loved it.. The resort has 24/7 security which we found reassuring. Would most definitely come back to a private owner rather than a resort customer.

As private villa guests, to eat at the restaurant was very expensive at 25 Euros per person for breakfast and up to 35 Euros per person for dinner, although its just over half price for children 12 and under, its still quite steep for what it is.

The villa was absolutely stunning. Food, little snacks and drinks were left for us, which was great as we arrived late. Very thoughtful. The kitchen had everything you could need, plus cleaning products and oil for cooking etc. No need for any towels, there were games and all sorts. Everything had been thought of. Patty was so responsive and really looked after us. We were so sad to leave.

The only thing we didn't like was having to go home!

Lovely rooftop area for sunbathing. nice and private pool area but pool very cold despite owner insisting it was heated Restaurant and bar in complex very nice with lovely staff. Excellent breakfast choice. Outside areas of complex well maintained and clean. Guys on secured entrance to complex always very polite and happy to help with enquiries, order taxi etc.

Air con/heating not working. it took numerous messages and 2 visits from an engineer to get it working Kitchen advertised as fully equipped but NO OVEN. Very dated and poorly equipped, not even a chopping board. We had to wash the glasses & most of crockery as stained and greasy Blankets and throw badly stained as were the pillows. This could be a lovely villa if the owner invested in updating it
