Very good location, very clean, lovely welcome pack of bread, jam and coffee. Pod does look slightly different on the outside but the rain probably affected that.

The sofa bed wasn't very comfortable, though we should have put my son on it, instead of 2 people.

"A tranquil spot to escape to but near a village for shops, music, a beach & FUN"

9.0

The place was lovely, great location (ESPECIALLY FOR TRAD MUSIC) and a great host. It said it did not provide breakfast but there was lovely fresh soda bread, jam and milk (after a long journey that was much appreciated). I enjoyed speaking to the owner and her daughter. When entering the place (and after their had been a LOT of rain) I would mention that it smelt slightly damp. But there was an excellent heater (so much so that I actually took the name of it) and really in minutes the place was as warm as toast and very, very comfortable. In the night the fitted sheet came off the bed and reattaching that corner I had to lift the mattress which showed me that under the bed was not as clean as everywhere else was. But, would I stay there again? Yes!

As mentioned above - under the bed could have done with a hoover. But I mention this in the context of the overall experience which was really great. I could also go on about the view, the peace and quiet of the place, my delight at seeing a lovely white duck run by the window, watching a robin etc etc. I think it was value for money and the hosts were 10/10 for friendliness. The next day I woke (having travelled all the way from Scotland) and I felt so well rested and ready for the rest of my trip - it was great
