White House - Marina Rubicon - Playa Blanca

Location was brilliant, villa needs,updating, not enough cooking facilities, had to ask for clean bedding, pool wasn't cleaned the whole 2 weeks, neither was the villa, lots of crockery was chipped,if a bit of updating was done, we would definitely stay here again.

Space, pool, outdoor space. Everything was thought out

One of the showers did not work which was an inconvenience.

The location was great, just a few minutes' walk from the Rubicon Marina shopping centre and the Marina itself. There are 4 branches of the HiperDino supermarket chain within a 15 minute walk of the property, with enough choice to be able to rattle up some tasty meals. Good eateries down by the Marina, which was very pleasant day and evening. There was a bus-stop near by, and although the buses were regular, they weren't always reliable (we had two that were 15 minutes late, and one was 10 minutes early!). But on holiday, so no stress! The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, as we chose to do a bit of self-catering as well as meals out. We didn't use the dishwasher as there were only two of us. Couldn't find the washing machine that is listed in the facilities, but we were able to handwash light items, which dried very quickly: not a problem in a week long stay at all. We would definitely return to this apartment.

As this was our first winter sun break, we hadn't reckoned on the temperature being quite chilly at night in January, so we had to put all our layers on in the evening! The bedding was warm, however, so we weren't cold in the night. This neighbourhood doesn't have any recycling facilities yet, so all the rubbish had to go in the bin together, which pained me! It would have been nice to have a short visitor guide with this sort of information: Denisse our host was very responsive to queries, but it would have been nice not to have to disturb her so much.

Great location - only 10 to 15 min walk to Marina/restaurants/shop etc. Large private outside area and large rooms. Owner was very easy to contact and very helpful

Leaving it to go back to the cold horizontal rain in Scotland!
