The house needs some attention to prevent it from falling into disrepair (some rooms suffer from rising damp, stains on some chairs in the living room which are covered with a blanket, no cosy lighting in the bedrooms and the living room,…) No central heating – 2 small electric heaters: 1 for the living room, 1 for 1 bathroom

We very much enjoyed our stay at the villa, it is at a great and quiet location, not far from shops, beaches, Teide Park, etc (even though you need a car), great sea and mountain view, very well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. The spa is a real plus! It was lovely to arrive and have all of the first necessities available, like toilet paper, coffee, spices, dishwasher tablets etc, a lovely gesture was the welcome bottle of wine, which was excellent!

Even though we received the answers from the owner straight away via message, it would have been nice to have a small folder with need-to knows, like where to find the wifi code, how to sort and where to get rid of trash, some ideas for excursions, etc. But that is just a minor detail, I cannot think of anything negative to say about our stay!

Fantastic views and very comfortable house

If you want to avoid crowds in Tenerife and still easily access all main attractions - this is probably best place in Tenerife. House is in quite private neighborhood, hidden from street by vast beautiful-green banana farms, surrounded by old colonial haciendas, and steep cliffs with amazing ocean vies. Just few meters away - there's Rambla de Castro farmhouse with few kilometers of trails and access to rocky beaches. ~1 hour on foot through the marked and maintained trails on cliffs you can access Punta Brava and Puerto de la Cruz. 15 minutes away on foot is Playa del Socorro beach which is really an ideal natural black-sand beech of Tenerife. 15 minutes away by car is Puerto de la Cruz, with Loro Parque and many nice shops and restaurants. 30 minutes away by car is Garachico, 45 minutes away Teno Mountains, 30 minutes - Anaga Mountains, and in one hour you'll drive up to Teide Mountain (btw, if you want 100 m. away from this house starts 27km trail to the top of Teide). Basically, you can live here for weeks and forget about crowded southern part. This is ideal place for people who want a taste of natural, local Tenerife. House itself is just beautiful - well maintained garden with Jacuzzi, spacious rooms, everything is very clean and cozy (it's not one of those commercial rental apartments). You can really feel a soul and a heart of an owner there who furnished all with love and care. There's all you need - fully equipped kitchen, cleaning room with washing machine, comfortable beds, master bedroom on top floor and two bedrooms plus children room on ground floor. Several bathrooms, one of which you can access from garden with jacuzzi. Solarium on the roof with sunbeds and table for lunch or cozy evening with local wine. All with beautiful ocean or garden views. This is really rare place, cause both the house and neighborhood are just 10 out of 10! Only restaurant you can access on foot is Restaurante Mirador de San Pedro. It's not really a bad thing, cause restaurant is very good and loved by locals (not a touristic restaurant). Btw, you need to book table for dinner cause usually it's quite crowded. And you must try desserts there!
