Quaint old house with spacious lounge and breakfast room. Nice free breakfast, and you just help yourself. Laundry facilities. Convenient for the downtown area of Sydney. Off road parking.

All rooms face the busy road along the harbour.

We expected an older hotel, well located along the historic wharf area. We got that. The room was spacious enough and the queen bed was very comfy. And it was clean. So far so good.

But the old hotel is very run down. The furnishings are heading toward the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Our room, #6, fronted on the Main Street and to get fresh air we opened the window and listened to the street noises all night. We were invited to enjoy a continental breakfast but it turned out to be totally do it yourself and whatever we could scrounge out of the refrigerator, we passed on that. When multiple lightbulbs are out in the bathroom and desk lamp, it an indication of poor supervision or bad training. Time to gut it and start over.

Tolles Haus, perfekte Lage! Alte Hotels haben immer etwas Besonderes. Dir Zimmer waren komfortabel und sehr sauber.

Good location

Very dated. Marked up doors. No safety lock on doors. Breakfast was very basic. Expensive for what you got.

At first, I wasn’t sure if I would like the hotel. It is old and since there was no elevator you have to take the stairs. However I did enjoy staying there and I do recommend the hotel. It has charm! Great location too.

No body lotion is provided.

Friendly and helpful host, good facilities and a light breakfast was provided. Well located with the Cruise terminal, main street eateries, University and boardwalk all an easy walk. Good parking behind the building.
