Villa Tomasso

Tomas and his wife are lovely people and so is their house. We intend to return here….. To explore Belgium more. It is ideally situated to travel to Brugge, Ghent and further afield. The beds are extremely comfortable and the furnishings and kitchen etc are excellent. The location is in good proximity to the main route through Eeklo and the town centre. We very much enjoyed our stay. Very high standard of decor, which is superb and very clean. Good sized bedrooms with very spacious ground floor living room and kitchen diner.

Toegangsdeur is bijzonder

Alle comfort was aanwezig. Wij hebben vooral gefietst tijdens ons verblijf. Wij hadden onze fietsen mee maar mijn zus en schoonbroer niet en we hebben lang moeten zoeken om een plek te zoeken waar ze fietsen verhuren. Tip: bij de fietsenwinkel tweewieler de causmacker kan je fietsen huren, e-bikes.

Zetels iets te zacht. Bedden iets te zacht. Maar dat is allemaal maar detail en persoonlijke smaak. Geen hor in slaapkamer 2.

Very spacious with lots of amenities. If we come back to Belgium, we will stay here for sure.

It smelt greasy - we bought aromatic candles to burn. The bed creaked & the bedding was polyester. There was no way to lock doors from the inside so it didn’t feel secure (access is via code to the electric garage door). Also, the info said there were cameras on the drive so it felt like we were being watched. Petty charges for coffee pods, dishwasher tablets & washing detergent (pre advised but really!!).

Location was good (between Bruges and Gent) Quiet neighborhood. The house has all the facilities and more! We loved the bread from the bakery nearby.

The baby cot didn't have a mattress.

Everything! It’s truly a home away from home. The house has everything you need for a great and comfortable stay.

The GPS took us to the back of the property but Thomas helped us to find the house. The town of Eeklo doesn’t have a lot of restaurants but it gave us the excuse to use the kitchen.
