Villa Rukaththana UNAKURUWA

Great location to silent beach and another nice beach close by. Nice to have cooking facilities. Clean and good facilities. Caretaker was very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of good advice as to where to go.

The bed was comfortable but a little noisy

I thought about 2 night there but I stayed 5 😅 I really like the villa, the option of making my own breakfast in the morning was awesome 🥰 Every day the common area was cleaned. Mosquito net is available but only by request. The most beautiful beach - silent beach was only 2 min from the villa! I really enjoyed spending the time there. The staff was really helpful and nice. Near the villa are a lot of family’s small restaurants serving local food. Also for people like me who traveling a lot - the option of making laundry was salutary 😌

It could be nice to have more basic cooking items and spices for all renters accessible 😊

This house is a really nice place to stay! I would recommend it to groups. I was travelling by myself and there were no other guests, so it was almost a bit too spacious. The house has a nice garden around and has bright rooms and a cool wind breeze. You can walk to the beach in 5 minutes abd there are some restaurants in walking distance. You can order nice sri lanka meals at the house. I had a delicious breakfast! There are surf boards to use and the staff helped me to organize a scooter. Its a perfect spot to spend a week as a group!

It was a bit empty because its a big house. The scooter had no light, which I found out when I was driving back in the dark. Everything else was perfect!

It's a new villa near the Silent beach one of the beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka, perfect for family or small company. The villa has big balcony, terrace with gas grill, kitchen with good equipment.

internet connection wasn't very good

This is really beautyful place, which is good as for family rest as for working. Unakuruwa is a quiet village where nice and polite people are living. There are 4 small perfecr familian restaurants with local kitchen, two beaches with different activities (big waves on the first beach and good snorking and surf school on the second one), a couple of kiosks with some food, a bus stop to Tangalle. The villa is fully equipped. It is brand new, fresh and well designed villa for comfortable placement. Located in the depths of the garden, the building is always surrounded by nature: there are lots of different bierds, little animals and exotic (but not dangerous) insects, which time to time passed by the villa outside. Even small varans and monkeys sometime visited the villa's garden, not deisturbing us. We felt ourselves like in the zoo :). Our very responsive host always helped us with any request. He provides European level of service, I strong recommend this place and other his properties!

Beautiful nature, a lot of animals around. In the garden we saw peacocks, squirrels, varans, monkeys. Room had A/C and fan, pretty comfortable. Even water boiler in the bathroom. There are two beaches near the villa - Silent Beach, astonishing place and ...some other beach, good for snorkeling and surfing.

The internet could be faster, but it is still alright!

Location is awesome, it's only ~100m to the Silent beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the south coast. Staff is kind and polite, can help you with everything you need. Rooms are good, everything is in a good condition, big beds, AC, private bathrooms. There are also a big balcony adjacent to 2 rooms on the second floor. Room cleaning and linen changing is every week, you can ask additionally for wet one or cleaning in your bathroom if you need. A lot of small restaurants near, you easily find place for breakfast or dinner. You can also ask to the owner for a gas grill, if you have the mood for barbecue)

The room on the first floor has no private bathroom, only one that adjacent, and there is no hot water =( The Internet is not as fast and stable as you expect it to be, it can be difficult to work remotely Not enough furniture in rooms for me, I wish I had something like dresser and at least one chair to put my clothes to
