Schrikkloof Private Nature Reserve, home of The Lions Foundation

The food was out of this world. It was the most relaxing weekend we had.

Everything was perfect!

Meals were excellent and a beautiful location

The gravel road access to the lodge is in a very poor condition, only high clearance vehicles should be used

The road driving there , needs a higher car

Activities that makes fun for special days _ Like on a cross over night , maybe a a little snack and wine gathering

The food and the staff were superb. I would love to go back again!

The dirt road getting there was a bit bad for my car. But if you have a bigger vehicle it would be no problem

Our stay at Schrikkloof was so amazing. The lodge itself is beautiful with so much to do from board games, spas, game drives, lion feeding, sparkling pool, and good food . Really enjoyed the lion feeding. The lions are well cared for and really have enough space. They are really doing such an amazing job of rescuing them and bringing them back to good health. The game drive was amazing, and our guide was very knowledgeable. The rooms were big spacious and beautiful. I loved the sound of the lions,donkeys, and other wild life during the night. Our stay was nothing but memorable. Thank you, Schrikkloof, for an amazing weekend

The roads to the lodge were really a challenge as we had a low-rise car. So we really struggled a bit but took it easy all the way but out stay made up for it. .

Game drive

Rooms dirty..food was just okay..breakfast was poor..utensils dirty..staff are unorganized..will neva return to schrikkloof and the sand road is 18km very bad...NOT VALUE FOR MONEY

The breakfast was delicious!!! You know you have arrived at a very special place when as you get out your car you are handed a wonderfully cool drink. This is a very special place where you will experience serenity, peace, service beyond excellence.

I Could not find one downfall.
