Grampians Nest

The property is located in a nice, quiet location. One can see many birds and even kangaroos. It is slightly off from the main market location, but not too far off. An easy walk will take you to all the restaurants in Halls Gap.

The property is not very well kept. Too many wires in narrow spaces present tripping hazard, especially during night, when the lights are dim. Kitchen could also use a few utensils and appliances.

It was in a nice area of Halls Gap. Lots of nice big trees. Very quiet area. The BBQ on the back verandah was excellent.

Didn't like that it only had a double bed. It was quite comfortable though. Only a microwave in the unit, so hard to cook if raining and you can't use the BBQ. Unit a bit tired. Maybe the bigger unit has seen more love.

Breakfast was only cereal and very unhealthy & boring. The location was good. The owner came and replaced the shower head after we had to strap it up the night before to have a shower.

This place is very average and not pet friendly as advertised. There is no secure yard. The property is in desperate need of painting and freshening up. Cobwebs need to be removed. No wood was available for the fire place and only a couple of firelighters and 2 single matches were provided - should be checked after every stay. After only one day the kitchen was overrun with ants. There were no microwave dishes available. The curtains in the lounge didn't close completely.

Great retreat with a lot of cute wild life in the backyard, nice provision of a nice indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit and bbq

BBQ could be better maintained to be usable

the surroundings were lovely the accomodation was clean and the bed was very comfortable

The BBQ was very dirty and cracked and rusty and you cannot use it !!!! it needs replacing also there was a carton of half used milk in the fridge and half used mayonnaise also open packet of frozen vegetables in freezer and cords over the floor !!! very dangerous !!! and t.v did not work. properly and there was a DVD stuck in the player !!

My partner and I recently stayed at Grampian Nest, and it was an unforgettable experience. Accommodations are well-maintained and clean with everything one could need. Watching the kangaroos and trees while enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck was one of the highlights. You can also explore the nearby natural attractions and town. Grampian Nest is a wonderful place for nature lovers, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway. I can't wait to return!
