Acropolis Sea View Villa

The location is very good with a beautiful view. The host was very responsive.

I dont understand the exceptional positive reviews here because the place itself was not clean. We found cockroaches, and it smelled everywhere like humidity, or probably it was mold. The cameras everywhere made us feel observed. The house wasn't ready at the time we arrived but the host agreed to let us stay one hour longer but left on time (11.00). Don't expect any extras in the house, just the very basics.

Fantastic villa. Very spacious. Just minuets from the beach. George the host was brilliant. When we arrived late at night he had left a hamper of food and beers in the fridge.

The only thing I would say is that the nearest shop was a 15 minuet walk a long the beach.

Amazing views, great location, fantastic host - organised taxi to and from airport, left a fridge with local food and wine/juice and plenty of fresh fruit, tomatoes and cucumbers. Reached out on what's app on arrival so that we could contact with any queries too - cannot fault.

Had to work out how to get hot water for shower in the am but easy enough once worked out boost button!

We spent a wonderful family month in this place. The host was very, very helpful and kind. We hope to visit the villa again. I think it's worth having a rented car if you stay longer - especially to do shopping. The location and view from the villa are truly exceptional.

Steep drive !!

This villa is absolutely lovely. The outside space is incredible with beautiful views of Polis beach and Latchi. The pool is a great size with plenty of sunbeds. The terrace is a real suntrap, but with shady areas for when it is really hot. The inside is airy and clean, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, and we were looked after very well by George & Co. who were quick to answer any questions we had and to make recommendations. It is a short walk to the beach. Highly recommended!

Acropolis Sea View villa was just as expected - it was a handful of minutes walk to the beach, the views were terrific, the pool was good, and the comms from George were responsive throughout. All the bedroom were a good size, and each one had aircon in. We did struggle to get the settings right, and i think it would help if the remote controls were numbered/labelled for each room. The kitchen was well equipped, with everything you needed (and some things we didn't need like a popcorn maker :-)). The walk to Latsi was fine - about 15 minutes altogether but flat and along the paved path by the beach. Plenty of choice there although much of a muchness for the food offerings. There was a mound of fresh fruit, milk, cheese, eggs, etc in the fridge when we got the villa - which was a really nice touch. More fruit arrived during our stay delivered by George's father. Massive patio, which we probably didn't take that advantage of as the shade was limited (and the sun umbrella needs replacing/repairing). We rented a car from Petrides (a short walk away), which worked well, and needed the car to go to the bakery each morning and the supermarket in Polis a few times, plus the trips out to Paphos etc etc. Remember the plug sockets in Cyprus as the same as UK style.

Difficult to put anything here. Perhaps it's a little dated in decor, but that really is a minor thing. The sun umbrella needs repairing/replacing. There's no shop within a few minute walk - nearer 15, but George had told us this before we arrived so it wasn't a surprise.
