Villa Yermanina

The villa looks beautiful from the outside with a very nice garden and pool. Unfortunately, the pool cannot be used during the winter months as it is not heated, but that is fairly standard. It has all things you need. Overall, this is a nice place for summer, offering coolness and relief from the sun, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a winter stay. My rate would be higher in summer for sure.

The main issue is the lack of heating. The villa is made of stone and has tiled floors throughout, which is a great advantage in summer but a significant downside in winter. There is a fireplace that heats the living room, but during our stay, it was raining heavily, and the firewood, which was stored without cover, was completely wet and unusable. Heating is available via air conditioning, so even though you don’t need air conditioning in winter, you still have to pay for it. There is a note stating that air conditioning is charged, but there’s no information indicating that heating also incurs an extra cost. This wouldn’t be an issue if it were clearly stated upfront, but it’s not. Heating is generally a standard feature during the winter months, so I found this disappointing. I had to pay an additional €140 for heating, yet the bathrooms remained extremely cold and unpleasant to use. There should at least be a small radiator in the bathrooms. There were 6 of us staying, 3 kids and 3 adults, and I think Booking.com should not allow this villa to be listed for such a group. Five people would be the maximum. Even the owner admitted that the villa is designed for 4 people. I felt uncomfortable when I reported the heating issue and was told that I supposed to be grateful for being allowed to stay with 6 people and for the fact that the price was lower than in summer. I had clearly entered this into the search criteria, but later this was used against me when I raised concerns about the extra charges The location lacks places for walking, and everything is quite far, so having a car is a must. For us, this wasn’t an issue as we had a car and checked the map beforehand. However, I initially thought there would be some walking paths nearby, but there are none.

The villa is spotless and beautiful, location is quiet and relaxing, shops are not walking distance so a car is a must, unless you like a morning stroll. Shops, are only a 5 minuye drive along with the beach, The villa pool is amazing and beautiful, slightly slippery around the patio area, so make sure the kids don't run around. We loved our stay here, Mario's was the most attentive host we have ever had through booking.com. we will 100% be coming back. Thank you Mario's and family

We have just had the most amazing stay at this villa. Having been to Paphos for many years, this is easily the best villa we have stayed in. Marios is the perfect host and is on hand should you need anything at all, we arrived on a late flight which was also very delayed and he spent plenty of time with us showing us around and giving us all the info we needed and had also provided essentials like bread, milk and fruit etc - very kind! We loved everything about the villa, the kitchen was so well equipped and the pool and outside area was just incredible!! Can't wait to return! Thanks again for a wonderful stay Marios :)

Everything was perfect.

Everything about the property was perfect, it had all the amenities needed, plus more. All furniture was nice and comfortable in the bedrooms and throughout the villa. The pool was lovely with a lovely garden to sunbathe in. The store room had a washing machine along with and more than enough dishes and cutlery in the kitchen. Marios the owner helped us out a lot and even stayed awake till midnight to check us in and gave us a very good tour of the villa along with showing us how everything works. He was very easy going and friendly and I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Nothing we throughly enjoyed the stay

It was fantastic. Host are super friendly and helpful, space was spotless and large. Pool was nice and clean, it is only short ride from airport, however renting a car is highly recommended.

Not much, we experienced power loss for few hours but it was due to a storm and in no way fault of the owners.

Our vacation in Paphos was one of the best vacations with family for all time, as in Cyprus not necessary to take hotels. Villa was perfect for 4 people, large rooms, private swimming pool, barbecue zone, comfort location etc... Owners of villa were very friendly and very helpful in any questions. Very comfort and safety security system.

No minuses at all, before we scared that will be far to beach, but in reality it was 4 minutes by car also shopping malls 4-5 minutes

Fabulous, well equipped villa. Peaceful location, short drive to beaches, water park and Paphos harbour. Regular bus service with the bus stop a 5 minute walk away. Lovely restaurant nearby. Host was welcoming and informative.
