The location was everything! And the house manager was amazing! Very helpful and communicative.

Nothing major but the back door locks didn’t seem sturdy when it was time to lock ourselves in for the night.

"We loved the Samana peninsula and staying at the Ralphs place, we felt like being at home."

The location is great. The house is amazing and has an incradible view on the open ocean. The house in a way is open house and gives you a feeling of freedom. There is a well-kept and maintained garden, in front and also behind the house. Jochi is super friendly and helpful with everything, even when a bull visited our garden :)

We had to pay our staying out of the Booking.com platform, after arriving to the place, even though in the app it said we will be charged before our arrival. And to be clear, IT IS THE RULE OF THE BOOKING.COM and not Ralphs (the owner of the property), he couldn't do anything about it. It was stressful for us and for Ralph. The house needs little repairs.
