Elegant Villa with Private Pool

I booked this villa through Booking.com, and unfortunately, my experience was very poor. The moment we arrived, we were hit with a bad smell — the place literally smelled like a toilet. The reception and dining areas were not air-conditioned as stated in the listing, which made it extremely uncomfortable. Even the lighting was a problem. Out of several lamps, they only turn on one, clearly trying to save electricity at the guests’ expense. The swimming pool didn’t look clean or inviting at all, and the so-called “barbecue area” was very basic — definitely not what you'd expect from a villa at this price point. The kitchen didn’t even have basic necessities like soap at the sink, or any tea, sugar, or simple welcoming touches. It felt cold and unprepared, as if no one cared about the guest experience. What’s even more disappointing is that it’s non-refundable. Now I understand why — if there were refunds, no one would stay. I highly recommend others think twice before booking this place.

There were insects in the garden which I think is expected, the furniture style inside the villa is somewhat old however it is still expected
