"We had a lovely week at Villa Abril"

Really nice villa up in the hills, beautiful location, nice and quiet with just the cicadas to keep you company. The villa had everything we needed, lots of space inside and outside, good aircon, good wifi, lovely pool, lovely terrace and balconies, the kitchen has all that you need, the bathrooms are very nice. The local town Competa is pretty and has good restaurants and cafes 5 minutes drive away. You can see the sea from the terrace, but be aware that it's a 30 minute drive down winding mountain roads to the coast. The hosts live next door, they are happy to leave you in peace but are also there if you were to have any problems. This was a perfect holiday rental!

You will need to be a confident driver, the road up from the coast is like a plate of tangled spaghetti. Not a problem for us as I enjoy driving - and believe me it's worth it to stay in such a beautiful place. The villa is exactly what you hope for when you look at the photos 10/10.

"Die Unterkunft war schön und die Vermieter sehr nett aber ne hilfsbereit."

Die Bäder waren sehr schön und modern, ebenso die Schlafzimmer. Der Pool war sehr sauber und ausreichend groß.

Obwohl die Unterkunft für 6 Personen war, gab es nur 3 Liegen. Herd, Backofen und Waschmaschine funktionieren, sind aber schon alt, ebenso die Küchenmöbel. Das Inventar reicht für 6 Personen aus, ist aber nicht großzügig bemessen.

"Our 2 months stay at Villa Abril"

Location and views. Parking.

No heating in main room when we arrived and very cold weather. Problems with hot water took days to rectify. No pool maintenance or cover. Wasnt able to wash down patios as water taps not working and villa situated adjacent to a very dusty road. No cleaning of villa provided.

Location in the mountains was great. Lovely view and close to Competa. Spacious property and well equipped kitchen and open plan. Big outdoor area to relax, eat and chill in the pool. The hosts are attentive and get back to you promptly on any queries or issues.

Secluded location, own private pool, good facilities

It was a little further drive from the coast than we thought, very winding roads. But that it more to do with us not doing research before booking.
