El Portet - beachfront holiday home with private pool in Moraira

Location is fantastic with great views and easy access to the beach. The gardens are beautifully laid out and well maintained. Villa had lots of space for the 7 of us and was ideal for a large family holiday.

Balcony doors tended to rattle in the wind - but only on the days with strong wind which may not be that usual.

Location excellent. Lovely large pool. Plenty of terraces and loungers. Great access to beach. Easy to find. Beautiful surrounding garden and pots. Beautiful view. Very quiet area (June). Large rooms and plenty of space. Lovely floor and cool house with curtains and shutters and, extra fridges and freezers. Good large tables outside and plenty of sitting areas.

Welcome pack - no sponge, rubbish bags, washing up liquid, salt, only one loo roll per bathroom, more drying cloths needed. Crockery could do with updating especially decent size mugs not chipped! Bathmats for bathrooms as unsafe otherwise. New pillows would be desirable as a bit lumpy! Some bed mattresses need replacing as uncomforable. Sofas in front room not very comfortable although not used much. New clothes drier upper level as current one is broken.

The views were amazing. The pool was amazing and clean. The house was big and the gardens were well maintained. The staff at the management office were amazing. I had forgotten my camera and some cash in a pouch and I called the office. They called the cleaners and immediately couriered the package to Barcelona on my request. I am very thankful to the staff and want everyone whos reading this review to know this. Highly professional and excellent staff at the management office.

This house needs some things to be left for the clients when they come in on the first day. We came a bit late just before the office closed and didnt have time to shop. Its nice to have a carton of milk, some coffee, tea, sugar, water, dish washing soap, garbage bags, extra rolls of toilet paper, may be some shampoo and body wash will add a lot of extra value to the house. There were only 2 towels for each room which is not enough for a house with a pool by the sea. We were told that the lights by the pool are not supposed to be switched on by the owner. Everyone had some bug bites. Not sure if that from outside or from the beds. This needs to be checked.

Exceptional location, stunning views from nearly all parts of the villa. Impressive views of the beach, coast, sea, and mountains. Great sunsets. Villa was large and spacious. Lounge had couple of sofas and tv. wifi worked well. Bedrooms were fine. Good outside area for sitting/dining, both covered and open. Separate BBQ building and covered area and outside tv. Large pool, larger than most villas. Lots of seating around it, loungers etc. Small sheltered beach was only 10 seconds away, out the side gate and down the steps, great for swimming, and snorkelling. (paddlebaord/kyack hire) and a couple of small friendly cafe/bars. Outside planting/garden area was well maintained. As well as a few bars/restaurants nearby it was only a 15 minute walk into the main part of Moraira, with good choice of restaurants.

Sparse/minimal in furniture; two sofas, some beds. Beds were comfy, sofas weren't. Alright for family of 5 but wouldn't be good if if was maximum occupancy of 10. Kitchen and bathrooms felt a bit dated. Little things like light bulbs not working, batteries missing from the remote control, pool hadn't been cleaned detracted a bit when you've paid so much for it.
