GBThe location and the experience of being disconnected , even if it was for a brief moment, was good. The host Mario and his brothers took great care of us and the other guests and even cooked vegetarian meals for us once they found out we were vegetarian. Also, the ride from the train station to the hotel is about 30-40 mins depending on the weather and the condition of the road, but if you can , ask for the ride on top of the SUV. There was a special seating arrangement on top of the SUV and we had an absolute blast getting into the hotel. Also, do the tour to Urique if you can , we absolutely loved it and should be available and it's run by Mario's brother who lives in the valley. Overall it's very easy to recommend this place , given how unique and experience it is. And yes it's more expensive than other locations,but I guess that's the price for a unique experience.
It's a fair bit away from Bahuichivo, so if you want to explore the town itself, you'll have to ask for a ride to get into town and back
