Draaihoek Lodge & Restaurant

We had stayed here before and our return did not disappoint. We were warmly welcomed by André and his team. We were upgraded to a Superior Double Room. The room was very comfortable and spacious. It had an open fireplace, which made our evening cosy. The bathroom was newly renovated and we loved the Belgian tiles in the shower. We loved the boardwalk over the dunes to the prestine beach that stretched on for kilometres. Dinner was delicious and the soufflé omelette at breakfast was exquisite.

The staff were friendly and helpfull.

The shower water pressure was terrible and some things were not in place… like not enough water to drink and bed-lamps not plugged in… But overall a good experience.

The staff was so friendly and willing to assist even though we only stayed one night on the Easter Weekend. Location as well as views are amazing with the property being really clean and well organised. We enjoyed our very short stay. Restaurant as well as breakfast was great as well.

We really did not have any complaints.

Very welcoming, lovely venue. Good service. The sound of the ocean and the stars at night were amazing.

Disappointed with the bed. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. The water is non drinkable - you can buy from the restaurant but very little was supplied for drinking and for the kettle. Would be more of an issue for a longer stay.
